I had the primary breather fitted to my bike a few weeks ago,
So yesterday I decided to see if the oil was still transferring,
I rode a 6.5 kilometre round trip for a latte....no sign of oil transfer

Had the primary breather fitted and so Saturday it was a lovely 11deg,so I rode 230 K's doing normal riding and up it for the rent through the gears, all that sort of thing,
I checked the g/box oil level this morning and oil was at the full mark....no oil transfer....early days yet....I have the Greg Williams fat clutch rod waiting...just wanting to see if the breather made any difference before I fit the rod......O yeah..I had another cup of coffee and six pisses because it was cold
Had a couple of days away......a workmate, Will (owns a 2018 Wide Glide) has a cousin from NSW Central coast was doing a reunion ride to Townsville Thursday and was happy to have some company for part of the way. Me and Will rode to Rockhampton on Thursday with him. Spent the night in Rocky and then home yesterday but did a detour via 1770 and Agnes Waters and down by the coastal road the Bundaberg and home again. I never knew that road existed.
Not a bad ride, but sooo many roadworks up the Bruce Hway north of Gin Gin....stop/start all the way, just get going, and stopping again. Seemed the red traffic lights saw us coming, but if it gives Qld a decent hiway instead of the rough goat track called the Bruce Hiway its got now, so be it.
The run through 1770 and Agnes was great considering it has been 42 yrs since I saw it last...….Agnes just consisted of a dozen or so timber beach shacks with dirt roads and 1770 had a pub...…….big difference now.
Good stuff Pedro.....
And thanks for the Intel on the road north of Gin Gin.
Heading South soon so Ill be dodging the Highway myself and cut through Bundy.

1 lot of roadworks between Apple Tree Creek and Gin Gin, many between Gin Gin and Miriam Vale, and quite a few between Rocky and Miriam Vale. Talking to a bloke that said it took him an hour longer to go from Rocky to Hervey Bay. Good ride from 1770 to Bundy, not so much traffic.

Yeah. The road is shit.
I go to Rocky every week which is only a 100km. I have to give myself 2 hours to get there.
So looks like when we head south it will be via bendy and over to Childers....
Yesterday arvo headed up the highway to have dinner with the outlaws and drinks this morning headed home up to melany out along postman’s track and came across group of riders on a tight corner with ambulance there and then passed another ambulance and 3 cop cars didn’t look good, then back to Woodford over mt Mee and home great ride and beautiful day hope what I saw that no one was seriously hurt
Seen on the local news tonite, another guy died on Stanley River Road on Sunday. Bloody not good. Also on Saturday on the Imbil side of Kenilworth bluff, cops, firies, ambos attending something that had gone over the side. Couldn't see what it was, but due to lack of skid marks and debris I'm suspecting bike.
Met up with Uncle Fester for a run through the hinterland. A bit breezy and cool up on the range, but a good little run with a stop at Beerwah for lunch.
Toowoomba on Saturday after a 1 1/2 hour shitfight between Gleview and Landsborough caused by a car/cyclist fatality. Sunday Warwick Tenterfieild Glenn Innes. The fires and smoke/dust haze are terrible. Dry as fuck up there and I'd say at least 1000 dead roos on the side of the road. South side of Tenterfield the fires had come within meters of a brand new estate. Chromer was going to meet us in GI on has way back from Broken Hill, but he was behind schedule. Monday was to Armidale then down Waterfall Way to stay in Coffs. Met up with Chromer here and spent the evening solving the problems of the world -talking shit, in other words. Tuesday a quick stop at the Coffs dealership, then up to Grafton the back way via Glenreagh and on to Casino. From there, hung a right and down through Coraki to Evans Head. Worst bit of road of the trip. And Illawong hotel Evans Head, worst bed of the tripn though food and service great.
Today, just gunna be up the highway to home.
A great few days away.
Hired a Air bnb at Coffs last weekend, my 2 brothers rode up from Newcastle and my sister (on the back of her partners Indian) and I rode down. Was a good run down and we had the best weather ALL weekend
We got there Thursday arvo and spent the night at the Hoey Moey Friday morning we rode down along the Coast to Sawtell then out onto the Highway for a blatt down to the Nambucca turn off, we rode into Nambucca for a quick waterfront stop and some beautiful pics (which I will try to post up). Then we head down to Macksville and out to the Pub with no beer at Taylors Arm and you guessed, we had a few beers before heading back to Coffs.
Then Saturday we headed out through Bellingen over Waterfall way to Dorrigo pub for some lunch, then headed back to Coffs with a few scenic stops along the way
Sunday morning we all left heading north and south back home. It was an awesome weekend of riding and catching up with family, perfect weather and heaps of laughs.
One of my bro's has a 2018 Road Glide and the other has a Triumph Tiger, my sister has Harley 500 (but she didnt ride) she came on her partners Indian (not sure of the model but its a big bastard).
