A MOMENT WITH ROBO
First up ozkiwicol. Congrates on winning the December Bike of the Month. And what would you rather be called...Oz.....Kiwi....Col....Or Bro.
*Well, Oz is my home, there's a lot of kiwi's and Col is me short name, if I hear Colin
I know I'm in trouble so Bro
Ok Bro....How long have you had the Superglide.
*Had the Shovel about 5 years.
Ok man....She is a sweet looking machine. What up-grades have you done to the beast.
*Rebuilt the frame, which was a bit bent, stripped and rebuilt the motor, got a 4 speed
Baker gearbox, put the Softail front forks on it which are 1 inch over with a new 19" front
wheel, basically rebuilt the whole bike front to back.
Sweet as man.....Should've went that little further man and went with the Softail rear end... Do you do all ya own spanner work.
* I try to, when I balls it up I get on the phone to a mate who has a laugh and
straightens it out for me, then the bourbon flows
Rightio bro...Good to have smarter friends then yaself......I'm not that lucky.... Anyhows Bro....Tell us. Have ya rung it's neck right out to the limits. or do you just cruise like Tom man.
*Wait till her indoors isn't looking, (yep, hid the rev limiter a few times, takes off not too bad)
Yeaaahhhhhh....That's it bro...Got any future plans for her man.....Like Turbo and go faster shit like that.
*Nah, just takes the mileage pressure off the Softail
I'll do the funny stuff bro... Only joking Bro...She's an oldie but a goldie man.....Has it ever left you on the side of the road waiting for a trailor man......Like. Fuck don't ya hate that.....
*Fuck, ran out of fuel coming down the range here, some boof left a rag in the tank
and blocked it up(previous owner) also blew the original gearbox, only travels well
on a white ute, has to be white.
White Bro....Holden white I hopes man.. Ya have any thoughts on getting ya self a later model.....
*Of course.. Nothing but a Holden .Have a 2006 Heritage, just been bombed a bit, 5000rpm it runs out of fuel so
bigger injectors are needed for faster
Ok Bro.....Tell us.....Pulled any chicks on the Glide to date..
*Naahh, to busy riding,
Man, ya need to run that baby down the 1/4. Pit skimps gallor.
*Will try the strip one day, think the Shovel will do a 5 minute run
Hope they have a white ute at the strip, just for me
Bllllaaaahhhhaaaa...Yeah man Bro....Puts me in mind of a Movie I once watched. Some ol Blind dude in a 57 Chev...) to the ton in 48 days man....Or something like that...Running on empty. Thats it...Good movie. Made in some city south of here....Anyhows ol mate.....Oz......Kiwi.......Col. Bro.
Thanks for being part of. Thanks for adding some delight into the Forum. Thanks for your support. Most of all champ. Enjoy the limelight of being part of the Award of owning.....December Bike of the Month.
Nuff said.
Thanks Robbo, and to all those on the forum, what a great bunch.
We try our best to impress man...But some people just don't dig it man.
Cheers
Robo
