0004 ***** SEPTEMBER 2014 BIKE OF THE MONTH *****   0004
```````````````````````````````` Welcome all to the September 2014 BOM, this month
```````````````````````````````` it is my turn to choose a group of bikes in which in my
```````````````````````````````` opinion was very unlucky not to have won the Bike Of
```````````````````````````````` The Month in which they where entered into, I think all
```````````````````````````````` are different to each other in every way and now it's
```````````````````````````````` up to the forum members to vote on what they think

Theo 2010 Dyna Wideglide

Sometimes a Harley isn't all about being customized to look good, occasionally looks are second to
performance and this is one Harley that fits this mould, this is one Harley that flies along in leaps &
bounds, thanks to the 96' barrels bored to 103', forged pistons, S&S Gear drive cams, port matched
throttle body, hand ported heads with cams to match, V&H Big radius pipes, billet oil pump & SE
compensator sprocket to list but a few. A lot of work went into the front end & rear suspensions with
Ohlins being the chosen product, then sorting the rest of the bikes flexing problems with a set of
True-Track stabilisers makes this bike a no nonsense bike that is capable of mixing it with a lot of
sports bikes. By adding a new combined speedo, tacho unit, Ned Kelly’s helmet horn cover plus with
the Willie G theme from grips down to the peg & a shit load more (TOO many to list), makes this bike
want to be ridden daily hard & fast.

Al's 1200 Sporty

Al's 1200 Sporty caught my eye from the first time I seen the pictures, I just think that
it is one of those bikes that need a second look. This XL 1200C 2006 model sporty is not
only quick to catch your eye but a quick bike as-well, the rich blue, chrome & black colour
scheme all highly polished to a faultless mirror finish. With all the additions from the bling
to the performance of the Arlen ness big sucker on a 42mm Mukuni carb & V & H straight
shots makes it a very well-co-ordinated machine.

Stuffa 2011 Heritage Softail

The first time I set eyes on this bike I knew their was something special about it, this is one Harley
that just stood out from the crowd and I would need a full page just to try and write up the added
bling and modifications it has. This 2011 Heritage Softail screams elegance with class & style, from
the heavy fat spoked wheels up to the mini apes. The distinguished attention commanding colour
combination with all the chrome makes Stuffa’s Heritage standalone, even if it is parked among a
group of show winning bikes. Stuffa has done a marvellous job in creating an eye pleasing outstanding
individual bike with his choice of additional accessories. Plus, with the braking & power enhancement
modifications, this bike has been crafted for one purpose & that is for it to be enjoyed.

Bad Dog’s 1999 Heritage Softail FLSTC

Bad Dogs Heritage is the last of the Evolution era of motors and they are arguably the most
reliable Harley that has ever been produced to date and this Heritage ticks every box and
you will probably never see one in this condition again, it is a well maintained & aesthetically
pleasing bike. With the Eagle exhaust & air cleaner as the only engine modification. The paint,
Original Vivid Black, with added bling, Kuryakyn Phantom Covers, Front axle chrome covers &
Chrome swingarm pivot covers, accompanying white wall tyres combined with the Western
bars, Mustang fender bib, Cats eye mirrors & Curved laydown number plate holder all come
together to please the eye, I think this is a bike that needs a second run no question about that.

Philthy 2008 FXCW/C

Rockers are not everybody's cup of tea but I personally think they are a fantastic looking
bike and you have to look a lot deeper into them to really appreciate the statement they
are sending and Phil's Rocker to me is as good as any other Harley that has graced the BOM
pages. This 2008 FXCW/C has a stock motor (sort of!), heat wrapped pipes, olskool S&S
aircleaner, bars and powder coated Ness mirrors, bargain bin grips from bike shop, headlight
borrowed from an ’84 FXST, custom blue paint job with matching valve caps. Nothing much
done to the Rocker but the moco has already done it all before leaving the factory and I think
they have done a fine job with them.

All great looking bikes, it makes it hard to decide on one.

Anyway my vote has been cast, good luck to all the worthy contenders.

Torn between 2 very good examples of different style bikes. I have had the pleasure of observing both on the road. I think I will have to delay my vote while I have a little lay down and think about it for a while.

All this months bikes are winners in their own right. Unfortunately you can only vote for 1. Vote is cast, but I'm still not sure, I just went with first impression. Cheers to all.

Me as well Burra, I think I outsmarted myself this month as Pearcy said every
one is a winner and I have just made a hard situation even harder, I might
just hang off and do some more thinking.

In the past, I've always got on, looked and voted straight away, but this time I've decided to revisit this thread a few times. They all look like winners. Which one will I like to own. I had to eliminate them slowley this time.
Anyhow, as the system works I was allowed only one vote
It's been made..........
Good luck to ya's all
As I said they are all winners

Fairdinkim it's a shame their can be only one winner out of this bunch

Anyway I don't normally let my feelings of my choice of bike out but all
I will say is I like spooked mags especially ally ones, maybe I will have
a vote this month seeing it wont effect the winning bike .
