Re: Where Did Ya Ride This Weekend ??
Got the Heriglide back on the road after fitting another set of lifters. New engine is now run in and due for change of oils. Nice little punt up to Woodford, across to Kilcoy and then up the hill and over to Crows Nest. Down to Murphys Creek, flicked over to Gatton and meandered home via Rosewood and Amberley. Managed to put a couple of tanks through her so she should be good for a couple of overnighters before the end of the year.

Re: Where Did Ya Ride This Weekend ??
Gday to all, got the Bob out today for the first time in a while. Started at Ricks at Palmwoods for a coffee, up to Montville then Stanley River road via Maleny - Postman’s Track to Connondale back to Maleny then a downhill to Palmwoods and Ricks for a cold one. Round trip 170kms but mainly twisties
See some of you at Imbil next weekend.
Cheers Frothy

Re: Where Did Ya Ride This Weekend ??
Gday all, after waking up to a nice clear morning on Sunday, I rode up over Mt Glorious, hardly any bikes on the road mid morning !, found them all parked up at the cafe on Mt Glorious . Steady run down to the Esk bakery for some smoko, the pub had Mental as Anything playing, fair crowd already there at 11.00am. Decided to sidestep the crowd and putted onto Kilcoy for a gingerbeer, had a yarn with a couple other riders there, took the road past the Woodford jail, up over Mt Mee then home. All in all a nice cruisy ride, avagoodweek everyone.
Benno.

Re: Where Did Ya Ride This Weekend ??
Good to catch up with you again Steamer and good to meet Pedro as well. We enjoyed the day , doing a tad under 500klms. The youngster was going to come out to dinner with the wife and I, but after a shower, she hit the sack and that was the end of that.
A big day on the bike for her but she is getting used to doing more miles. She loved meeting all of you guys and putting faces to names. The ride mapped out by MH was excellent with a bit of everything. The views from the top of the mountain range was superb.

Re: Where Did Ya Ride This Weekend ??
Steamer and I left Hervey Bay at 7.00 am did a day ride to Imbil, met up with everyone at 9.00 am then led by MH, he took us all over the Hinterland, up and down the mountains, Twisties, twisties and more twisties…. (challenging for me, as I don't see twisties in my part of the world) Was an awesome experience, and I gotta say thanks to MH and of course, Marg.... the scenery around Montville, Maleny is a sight defiantly to see. Views from the mountain, unbelievable.
After lunch at the Maleny Pub, Steamer and I parted and went down through Landsborough and up "The Bruce" back home. Home at 4.30 pm 525 ks.. a good ride.
but the highlight of the ride was meeting many members for the first time and finally putting names to faces.....
A note to myself.....gotta go out and find some twisties to ride...…what a thrill. With 2500 ks on my new rubber, its the first time I got to use the edges of the tyre What a buzz.
____________ Cheers Peter

How rude of me .. was also a fine effort from EZI and his lil princess to make it up for Satdee's ride and some sly trifle for breakfast .. woulda been at least a 2 hr ride up as well, glad you made it mate

It was a good day and an excellent punt around the hills, plus always willing to make the effort to enjoy some of Marg's trifle
