Have a look at what my son Jake found today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

19 grams! That's a tad over $1,600  

He's the one we should be searching       

He found this nugget with his Minelab Goldmonster 1000. A fairly cheap detector. He always finds little nuggies every time he goes out, but today he hit the jackpot!

Yeah that’s a good nugget, it gets ya in for sure. Most gold around here seems to be seam gold and I am surrounded by thousands of old mines, we are on the coastal edge of the Araluen gold belt.

LOL! Yep, and he got over current Gold price for it because a big interesting nugget becomes a collectors item, and collectors will pay waayyyy beyond value.

Gold Value was $1650 but Gold buyers don't pay full value because they have to make a profit too so it was worth about $1520 as melt down stock.

But fortunately the Gold buyer is a friend of ours and he knows he can get a lot for it so he paid Jake $1800 for it.
He will sell it for about $1900 or keep it as a display piece in his Ballarat Shop.
He owns 'The Mining Exchange Gold Shop' and has a lot of relics on display from the 1850's Gold Rush and other interesting Gold related things.
