Our son has bought an 09 Nightster with the King Sporty peanut 12L tank. He's chasing a 15L tank off an XL1200C. I think one off an 883 Superlow will fit as well.
Bike is black, but any colour is ok, he'll just get it painted.
Doesn't need to have the fuel pump, we can just swap out the original one.

Thanks Steve. I couldn't remember if it was 15L or 17L. Anything bigger than 12L has gotta be a bonus! 170km out of a tank isn't much good to him.

Will keep an eye out for you Pete, one will pop up, screw paying that price, I see all sorts of tanks up for sale across social media. I just grabbed a brand new 05 wide glide tank, never been on a bike, still has the wrapping all over it,  painted same OEM colour as my bike with decals for $400, didn't need it, but at that price I grabbed it, if I come a croppa I got a back-up.

A mates misses just bought an aftermarket tank for her sporty and
I have to say that it is a really good look on the bike, not even the

EasyR in Brizzy have raw metal 17L tanks for about $450. Not a bad price.
