Looking For A Touring Seat Sundowner Or Similar
Heya guys,
Back from the dead sort of. Finally separated and living back at the parents property in NE Victoria. Lots of crap but moving forward.
I had a Sundowner seat for when I took pillions. Unfortunately the ex kept that, not that it's any good to her.
Does anyone have a similar seat they want to get rid of?
To fit 2010 FXDWG.
Thanks ya.

Oh pizz, fuckin tell me about it! She won't let me take a load of stuff, my picks and shovels etc,,as if she'd use those. The seat I bet she'll give to her cousin even though he has at least half a dozen of them.
I pretty much walked out with nothing except the bike and some personal stuff. Put the trailer on, loaded the bike and whenever else would fit in, and came back home.

Theo, sorry to hear of your situation. I think there was a Sundowner on the Old HDforum a little while back, not sure what it was for. Do you talk to the Ex's cousin, if so maybe he can score for you. ( just a thought)
Good luck with it all.

Re: Looking For A Touring Seat Sundowner Or Similar
T...Get yourself a good solicitor and put in an early list of demands to what is yours...(but don't go overboard with the use of the brief, the more you use them, the more it costs) .....
I know full well mate..at the very tip of the iceberg...without all the rest of the shit...I've lost a couple of limited edition Harley belt buckles..a Smith and Wesson limited edition buckle...plus numerous 925 silver rings
mysteriously can't find them...I could go on all day with what that slag tried on and did...but it's not getting the seat issue sorted hey!?
If you can't get the seat back.... try Mustang Seats, they have one and two piece seats and from comments I've seen are a reasonably comfortable seat...
Link
Good luck AND stay cool T...and keep ya head together...be smarter
Cheers buddy

Re: Looking For A Touring Seat Sundowner Or Similar
Theo, so sorry to hear of your issues......these separations can get ugly........try to stay cool, if it's at all possible. Don't lower yourself to her level. And yeah when you get your thoughts in order talk to a lawyer if it is worth it, cause they want their cut.
Good luck with it all, get together with ya mates, do some riding, and talk it all over with those that care about you and don't be too proud accept their support. There'll be lots of mates to offer you that help. Don't go it alone!
Hopefully in time it will sort itself out and you can get on with your life.
____________ Cheers Peter
