Post Side Stand.

went on the brisbane blanket run , where people give blankets to homeless people, a good cause, 2 trailer loads. ended up at dayboro, parking my fatty with the other bikes  i kicked the sidestand out and turnded  the front wheel in, then it fell over . i cant lift any thing  so some other people had to pick it up. my son thought it slipped on some metal. . i am thinking now i should leave it in first gear as well. what  do   other forum members do.  thanks ,RICK

I am a neutral parker unless on a steep hill, I always pull up and straight
into neutral, and I never leave it in gear when stopped at lights, must
have something to do with riding shovels for to long.

I park in neutral .. & every time at lights too [but, watching mirrors & at the ready to drop into gear when no traffic has stopped behind me]
When on a hill or bank .. 1st & turned front wheel into slope ..

I find a tree and lean it on that.

Neutral when stopped, in first at lights just in case of quick get away
