Cheers ol cocks......Unsure if to have the mirrors up or down......Opinions. When this rain frigs off i'll take him out and get some better pics. The bars feels ace, and I can still get the shield on for the big runs....Hence why I couldn't titlt them forward any more. As all King owners know...Bastard of a things to fuck around with Handlebar positioning....So I leaant them forward to the max so as to still get the shield on.....

Nah Lynchy, not on a Roadie mate.
Ya havta pull the headlight out, remove the chrome trim on top, pull out the steering lock centre cover, remove the riser cover, and THEN you can adjust the bars  

Then reassemble it all just to try the position

Yes thats what i'm talkin bout, Sweet lookin Robo.     as for mirrors thats totally up to u what feels right, me i like under on a high bar and low small mirror on a low bar.

Not yet sold on the turned`in inverted mirrors man , but the 14 inch bars do suit it real nice hey , being a cvo did it come with a riders backrest at all and can you add a taller pillion backrest if ya wanted too robo ?
Will ya be changing the cans or do they sound ok for now ?

No rider backrest and yes you can add a taller pillion backrest.....Cans sound ok up to $1.20 then the wind start to fade them out....200watt. But the ol girl cant hear them at all after 60kph....Her problem....shes hates my music and I hate hers so she wears earphones and a Ipod....I'am looking at smaller mirrors. The standards,,,,,,In my eyes looks to dicky sitting up on top of them bars.
I think a riders backrest will be on the wish list for the birthday this year..

Question for the Raodking owners......Driving lights. Are they suppose to work on high beam...I notice mine work on low beam but flick over to high beam and they turn off......Looks like another fucking trip to the shop.....Fuck me.

Robo All driving lights on the HD's are set up as what they call Passing Lights, and are wired to be on when on Low beam. I have got a set for my FXST and will be wiring up as Driving lights So will be connected to High beam.  The Low goes OFF when you switch over to High beam, this is why your Driving/passing lights go off.  You will find they only have a 35w Maximum globe in them. If you get them changed ( swap wire over to High beam circuite) then you can put a 55w or 100w globe in.
You would have noticed HD's coming towards you with the passing lights and Low beam on.

....Cheers Steamer ol mate.....Just done a bit of research on that...Damn. I see you can buy a 3 way switch that wires in so you can have them run in Low and High.....Probably never need them for High beam as I don't do to much riding at night......But. Yeah.....Dicky I thought.

Yeah fella`s same with my `09 , spots on with low beams and turn off when hi beams activated , apparently the HD part No is #69200441 (Independent Control Aux Lamp Wire Harness Kit) , it enables spots to be activated via the toggle switch when either hi or lo beams are on ?

Yeaah cheers all.....I had a talk to me Tec the other day regarding this.....He said thats the normal config for them....They have to be wired on the Low to be classed as Driving light/ passing lights. But he said it's a 10min job to have them switched to high beam. Gives you a little more light for night riding......If you turned them into spotties with bigger inners and said you would require relays etc....still no biggen....I'll just leave as is.

Bullshit ...bullshit ....and more bullshit . Lazy fuckin Harley retailers are responsible for this crap .

IT IS ILLEGAL AND AGAINST AUSTRALIAN DESIGN RULES TO HAVE YOUR PASSING/SPOT/AUX LIGHTS WIRED TO YOUR LOW BEAM LIGHTS .

Harley Aust are fully aware of this and ignore it , so when you realise it down the track and take it back , the fuckers can ( and sometimes do ) charge you for it . AND they can charge you for all those shiney new part numbers to mod it back to the way it is supposed to be to be roadworthy in the first place . GILLARDS !!

IF YOU TRY TO GET A ROADWORTHY/ SAFETY CERT FROM A NORMAL BIKE MECHANIC ( to resell your bike ), YOU WILL BE REFUSED UNTIL THIS IS RECTIFIED .

Harley shonkey techs usually turn a blind eye as they cant be fucked ( perhaps in Moffs case when he bought his bike secondhand ) ...but it is the law that states that your lights ( ANY LIGHT APART FROM YOUR MAIN HEADLIGHT ) should be wired to hi beam only .

Your Tech is either ignorant or a lying Gillard if he says otherwise . They come this way from Seppo land as this is fine over their ( but so is shooting their own citizens with gay abandon ) , but it is NOT legal here .
