I hired a M8 RGS in the USA last week and was surprised at how gutless it appeared to be compared to my CVO.

Maybe the dealers detune their hire bikes, or the 46 deg temps were impacting on it. Can't say I'm impressed with them, mind you I only rode it for one day.

Maybe you should have tried the 114 CVO, I have, and they pull nicely stock, can only be better

with the normal upgrades, would like to test the M8 117.

Just got my bike back after having the new S E Torque cams installed. Along with a SERT, heavy breather, and some V&H Power Dual headers to match up with my Two Brothers Racing mufflers.

The result is a nice 101RWHP and 113 Ft Lbs of torque.

it has really livened the bike up and brought back that thump we love.

 rk9

Whilst it was in, I got some internally wired bars (13" Chubbies), flush mount fuel filler and gauge, and a set of CVO grips installed.

I am impressed with them, very nice low tone and mellow sound when on a steady throttle.

And when you want to make noise, just grab a fist full of throttle and they oblige.

All the best sounding baggers I have heard, run these head pipes.

I love it mate, completely changes the bike, max torque at 3,100 RPM. I have a few mates that have fitted them to there M8 motors, and they are all impressed.

Has anyone built or know anyone with a 117 TC, my 110 already feels tame, but Im worried the 117 TC will be heavy on fuel, which would be pointless as I intend to tour on my bike.

We have a 2016 CVO StreetGlide in our club with a built 117 motor in it, he runs Vance & Hines Power Dual headers and Vance & Hines HPO slip on mufflers. Sound is fucken awesome.

He gets around 350 - 390 km's to a tank depending if the Filth are around.

He got 120 RWHP and 128 Ft Lbs of torque out of it. Very impressed with it.

What type of V&H mufflers you got?

The HPO's sound awesome when matched with the Power Duals

Mine had no noticeable fuel usage increase.

Mine had the V&H HO 4.5 mufflers with the same head pipe as yours, probably the best
sounding bagger I have heard, maybe just better than Jacks, his sounds nice.

Thanks Lofty,the cam sounds ok...

Yesterday I was overtaking 2 cars,I was roughly doing 3,500rpm at $1.50...(stock every thing) I was to busy listening to the exhaust note to pay full attention..
when I got home I was checking hot oil levels and the trans oil was barely registering...I think the inner seal has gone...bugga...warranty issue I reckons
