Post Oldie But A Newbie

Gidday fellas,
I'm new here and I though I would give ya a quick intro, I live in Perth and I'm the proud owner of a couple of bikes after many years without one due to family responsibilities, work etc etc. ( better late than never tho' )
I have a 1988 FXST and a 2012 FLTRX  one for whipping down for a pint etc and one for longer country rides with the handbrake etc. so feeling pretty lucky actually.
I'm looking forward to a little social intercourse ( pardon the expression ) with some like minded people and any ideas or advice about rides, improvements, upgrades or anything actually will be graciously received.
Keep the rubber side down.
Shrekster.

Post Re: Oldie But A Newbie

Hi fellas and thanks for the warm welcome.

Thanks Ken I used to get mistaken for my baby bro all the time especially when he borrows my bike like he did in that photo.  And the time difference between WA and over East is about twenty years they tell me so yeah I can understand ya buggerin that one up hahaha.

Pedro me old mate I have got a few stories from the past that involve Motorcycles some fairy tales and some horror stories which I won't go into right now, but rest assured I don't mind sharing the odd yarn over a cold frothy as I'm sure many of you do.
Suffice to say I rode my first motorcycle around 1975ish and continued till about 1990ish had a Hiatus till about 12months ago when I got the itch good and proper after a life altering event (a good one) and bit the bullet to get the Softail only to get the Roadglide due to getting a sore ass on a longish ride and not wanting to get rid of the Softy I thought what's wrong with having two bikes and ya know what I was right.

Anyway guys I've been looking at all the stuff on this forum and can tell that you are all a bunch of bloody characters and I feel privileged to be included in the fold.

Thanks heaps and I'll try to behave promise.

Shrek.
